Mission and Vision
The Youth Center for Civil Development (YCCD) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2013.Â
Our mission at YCCD is to empower young people with educative, participative, and empowering opportunities aimed at fostering positive change and sustainable development.
Our vision at YCCD is to actively contribute to creating a society where youth communities are empowered, inclusive, and thriving, with active citizenship, civic participation, and volunteering as the cornerstone principles of a democratic and prosperous nation.

What We Do
At The Youth Center for Civil Development, we are dedicated to making a positive impact through our diverse range of projects.
With extensive experience in implementing capacity-building, awareness-raising, advocacy, and monitoring initiatives, we collaborate closely with local governments, educational institutions, and civil society organizations in municipalities across Georgia.
Our expertise extends to international projects in collaboration with European partner organizations.
The primary objectives that YCCD strives to achieve through
a variety of projects include:
We are dedicated to empowering young people to actively participate in democracy, promoting civic engagement and volunteerism. We believe that an engaged citizenry is essential for building a prosperous society.
We are committed to fostering growth and development in rural areas. Our initiatives are designed to tackle the challenges that young people in disadvantaged communities face, thereby creating opportunities for sustainable development.
In vulnerable communities, we provide access to non-formal educational opportunities, equipping local youth with new experiences and knowledge to support their personal and professional development.
We empower young people in rural areas to participate in social entrepreneurial initiatives. We believe stimulating innovation and economic growth at the grassroots level is essential for enhancing community resilience.
We advocate for a responsible attitude towards environmental protection. Through our projects, we increase awareness about pressing ecological issues, address climate change, enhance waste management practices, and promote sustainability.
In an era of information overload, we prioritize the development of media literacy and the fight against anti-western disinformation and propaganda. We empower young people to evaluate information sources and make informed decisions critically.
We are committed to facilitating the integration of minority communities into society and advocating for equal opportunities for all. Inclusivity and diversity are fundamental principles that guide our work.
We are dedicated to advancing gender equality. Our work promotes equal access to opportunities and resources for all, regardless of gender.
