The project is dedicated to promoting democratic values, combating disinformation, and fostering information and media literacy among young people in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions of Georgia. We achieve this by building the capacity of local youth organizations, with a specific focus on ethnic minority rural youth.

Project Implementation Period: June to December 2023

Project Activities:

  1. Intensive Training Course: “Developing Media Literacy Among Rural Youth”
  2. Creating Awareness-Raising Illustrated Posters
  3. Two Pilot Workshops for Rural Youngsters

Through these activities, we aim to empower our youth with the knowledge and skills to engage with information critically, uphold democratic values, and effectively combat disinformation.

The project is funded by the European Youth Foundation of Council of Europe.
